A three-day/two-night retreat in the beautiful, relaxing setting of rural Tuscany, Italy, where we will make new friends as we explore sketching as a wonderful means to slowing down, connecting with our inner-selves, and truly experiencing and appreciating our surroundings. We will explore using different media such as pencil, pen, and watercolors. We will eat delicious meals, made with locally grown produce, and relax by the pool and with morning yoga stretching

Where

Our setting and home away from home will be the beautiful agriturismo Casa Martini. We will sleep, eat wonderful meals, relax, and sketch here. We will also visit the nearby Sonnino castle where we will enjoy lunch, wine tasting, and sketching

Your sketching instructor

Mike Wiesmeier has taught drawing since 1996 to people of all experience levels...from guests of world-class museums such as The Getty Center, to art students, to industry professionals. Mike lives in Florence, Italy.

Your yoga instructor

Beatrice Martini studied in India where she obtained the "Yoga Alliance US" certificate for yoga teacher training. Since 2014 she has been teaching in Florence and at Casa Martini.
